An interactive session with Sri. Shankar Bidari,I.P.S, Commissioner of Police,Bangalore was held on 6-10-2010 in Dr. H.N.Multimedia Hall. Sri.Shankar Bidari spoke eloquently on "Crime and Crime situation in Bangalore'. He patiently answered all the questions posed by the students of Journalism. Mr. Biadari reiterated, 'Compared to any city in the world, Bangalore is the safest'.
Mr. Raghavendra Bhat, Crime Reporter from Vijaya Karntaka, gave several tips on 'Crime Reporting' to the students of Journalism.
Dr. A.H.Rama Rao, President of the National Education Society of Karnataka welcomed the guests and the gathering. Prof. S.Nagaraja Reddy, Hon. Secretary of NES was on the dias.
Dr. M.Leelavathi,Principal proposed the Vote of thanks.
The entire programme was anchored by Prof. Jayasimha, of the Department of Journalism.
