CLASSES FOR THE ASPIRANTS
FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT PROFESSORS IN GOVERNMENT COLLEGES IN KARNATAKA
The classes will be held between 6.00 p.m. and 9.00 p.m. in the premises
of the National Degree College, (Autonomous) Basavanagudi, Bengaluru-4 from 15th March to 15th
April, 2015, in Compulsory Kannada,
Compulsory English [for qualifying descriptive papers] & Optional Sociology
[for Objective paper]. It is
proposed to conduct 25 classes of one hour duration in compulsory papers and 30
classes in optional papers. Classes will be engaged by experienced staff in
each subject.
Classes for other optional papers will be
conducted if the number of applicants is 50 and above.
Fee
Structure is as follows:
Compulsory Papers: Kannada- Rs. 1500-00
English - Rs. 1500-00
Optional Paper Rs. 2000-00
Interested candidates may register their
names in the Examination Section of the National Degree College between 10.30
a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on or before 6th
March 2015 by making the payment of fees for the above papers individually
or totally. For optional papers other than sociology only name has to be
registered.

NSS Camp to Shyanubhoganahalli, Ramnagar Taluk
The students of the NSS of National Degree College, Basavanagudi, Bangalore have gone on a camp to Shyanubhoganahalli in Ramnagar Taluk. This camp was inaugurated by the Former Principal of the college, Dr.M.Leelavathi on 25.02.2015. The students will serve this village till 3rd of March 2015.

Add-On Course - Women & Society
Under the auspices of the Department of Sociology, an add-on course on Women & Society was inaugurated on 19.02.2015 by Dr. Geeta Bali, Former Vice-Chancellor, Karnataka Women's University, Bijapur. Classes will commence on the 21st of February 2015. The first session will be conducted by Dr. Sudha, Central University, Pondicherry.
