Today a Project work undertaken by II Semester B.A., Journalism Students under the guidance of  Prof.Jayasimha  was released by the Principal Dr.M.Leelavathi. Prof.P.R.Mutalik Sec. College council Dr.B.S.Subbarao. Prof. of Kannada & Prf. H.K.Moulesh, Controller of Exams were present on the occasion.

Blood Donation Camp 22 March 2011

National Degree College

On Tuesday, the 22^nd of march 2011 the National Degree College, Basavanagudi  had organised a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with the INDIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY.This camp was a combined programme of the RED RIBBON CLUB, NSSand the NCC wing of National College,Basavanagudi.

This camp was  opened by Dr M.Leelavathi, Principal NCB and Dr.C.B Annapoornamma, NSS Co-ordinator, NSS wing, NCB. There had been a good  responce from the students as well as the teachers.

The camp started at 9:30 AM and went on till 3:30 PM. Around 117  bottles were collected from 11 cots. Fully equipped staff of The Indian Red Cross Society -14 people and our NSS and NCC volunteers extended their support in making this camp a huge success..

The staff of The Indian Red Cross Society are as follows;

Dr.D.Rajashekar(Head), Mr.Vijay, Mr.Ashok.H.N, Ms.Rosamma Chako, Mr.Sachin Shinde, Mr.Harish.L, Mr.Shashi Kumar R, Mr.Jayanth Anthony Joseth, Mr.Kumar.C, a retired member of the club Dr.Indira and also few volunteers.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಅಡ್ವಾನ್ ಸ್ಡ್ ಸ್ಟಡೀಸ್ ನ  ಸಂದರ್ಶಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕ

ಅವರು ಮೂರು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ 

ಲೇಖಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಪ್ರೊ.ಎಚ್.ಆರ್.ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣರಾವ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು.
